Window to the sky quilt

This quilt was special. It was the very first quilt order I got. Well I asked them to pay for material, in exchange I asked to have carte blanche for the creative part. I loved everything about this quilt. It is a string quilt, paper piece with a template I did myself. In the quilt itself was stitched in the ditch. in the border I did leafs in the green border and clouds in the blue border. I love how calming this quilt is. Like laying on your back and looking at the clouds in a field.
