Japanese Temari balls

I have been facinated by those lately. Can't help but wonder how I can try to reproduce the same  3D effects on fabric.

    I am really liking the last Tamari Ball. I will have to look up how to do these. Thanks for the "new " peak into fun things that can be enjoyed. Mary
