Another UFO that need to be finished. I started "Summer sun" in the middle of the very cold winter of 2014-2015. I really needed colors in my life when everything was shades of grey outside so I took the brightest of orange in my stash and did this quilt. I just need to sew the flowers and it is done.
This quilt has been kitty approuved by Rocky and Willow, my foster kitties....they have since been adopted together.

ReplyDeleteGreat quilt here! I used to despise orange until quilting made me fall in love with its good use. :) This turned out really nice with the pairing of the pretty orange with the white, cream, and gray. The flowers add a really lovely touch.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful. Cats do love to snuggle on a quilt.
ReplyDeleteGreat colors. The purple batik flowers are perfect against the orangey/yellow and grey backdrop.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice dose of sun for a gray season! claire aka knitnkwilt.wordpress.com
