This baby quilt was a load of fun!!!! I still have appliqué to do all over the quilt but the baby animals just make me smile. Also those are not colors I usually use but they are perfect for this quilt.
It's fun to see this quilt coming together. I like how the stripes blend a little into the background of each block, but, at the same time, create a border. I find it creates a smooth transition. (This is how I see it in the picture and may not look like that at all in real...)ReplyDelete
How cute is that quilt. Well done. I love seeing other quilters applique projects. Not one of my favourite techniques but love looking at them.ReplyDelete
This is a lot of fun. I like the little stripy border around each block, it really adds something. Thanks for linking up with AHIQ.ReplyDelete

What a cute quilt. I added striped fabric as the binding but really like your placement surrounding each block. Good choice. Thanks for linking up with AHIQ.ReplyDelete

So cute! Love your borders around each shape. Are you machine or hand appliqueing? Thanks for sharing. K-ReplyDelete
The baby animals are machine applique with raw edge and the flowers on the border are needle turn applique :) Thank you :)Delete
