Under my needle this week

I found those fantastic old linens and they are the best to practice a bit of Free Motion Quilting. The hard part is to decide what to do. :) There is no yellow spot in real life.

This week I also started a new scrappy butterfly. I've put back my tub of reds and got my purple one :)

I doodle a lot!!!! Mainly at work....not that I am wasting my time but often I have to wait after my computer. I am a technical drafter and sometime I have to launch a commend and wait for it to be done. This is how I pass the time. And you??? Do you doodle?

  1. I love the use of print fabric with the bright fabrics!!

  2. Gorgeous butterflies! Love your doodling-I too love Angela's work :-)

    1. LOL you got me. Angela is one of my favorite teacher....I love her moto "close enough is good enough" :)

  3. I like your mission statement a lot. I am sending your link to my friend as well. LeeAnna at not afraid of color

  4. Love your doodle! I enjoy doodling also. Your butterflies are gorgeous! Thanks for linking up please remember to link back.

  5. Your practice quilting is beautiful. I really like the big leaves in the corner.
Your purple butterfly will be as gorgeous as the red one, with the luxurious fabric you chose.
Isn't doodling a relaxing way to pass time? I mostly do it while waiting during my sons' activities. :-)
Thank you for participating to my Fabric, Thread and Yarn link party.

  6. I love your scrappy butterflies - they are awesome! So is your doodling - so pretty in color! Thanks for linking up to the scrappy challenge!
