I have 2 projects that I want to work on this week.
My "Little prince" quilt and a new boy quilt "Little fisherman"
I am playing with a piano key border for the fox........still deciding if it is too bold or not :) and writing the quote from the book, I will probably use black tread on the letters to make it darker.

Little Fisherman is still in the early day of construction.

I love the fox! Is it your design? My first time visiting your blog, from Bits 'n Bobs Design Board Monday. So lovely! QuilterinMotion
ReplyDeleteYour fox is adorable! What is that French quote? I am not for you but a fox something, that's the best I can do rustling up my high school French! :-)
ReplyDeleteit will be this quote in french To me, you are still nothing more than a little boy who is just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. And you, on your part, have no need of me. To you I am nothing more than a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But if you tame me, then we shall need each other. To me, you will be unique in all the world. To you, I shall be unique in all the world....”
DeleteBoth me and the recipient are french speaking
That fox is amazing. C'est inspiré du Petit Prince. Superbe! I am not sure about that border though, because there is no such blue in the centre. But, maybe you have more to add to tie it all together? ;^)
DeleteThe picture has the border the wrong color, all the fabrics i used are black and white. Unsure if I will use it. Thank you for passing by :)
Deletewatched this fox being created and loving it, thanks for sharing the transulation very moving
ReplyDeleteLove your fox and the background is perfect, but not sure about the border.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I am also not sure about the border lol
DeleteWow, Yakicka, you have truly captured the posture of a real fox! It is simply gorgeous. I also love the story of the fox(es) and boy(s). I am not a fan of the border, but given what you've done with the fox and the quote, I am looking forward to your next idea with the border.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting to TN&TN's WIP Wednesday.
Gorgeous fox! Beautifully done.
