Baby Dragon and a new sponsor!!!

Let just start to say that this week has been exciting regarding my Quilting!!! I got my first sponsor....well my mentor Edith was the one that made it possible. Last year at the Quilt festival in Montreal, I saw a new thread vendor and since I was searching for a better thread to sew and quilt so I got a few bobbins. I know that everyone love Aurifil but my machine sure did not. I tried this vendor treads and then bought the whole range of colors :D

Anyway long story short, the owner gave me a lot of bobbins and I want you to share the bounty :) Just leave a comment on the color you want before November 26th and I will send one of  you one bobbin of SuperSew (3000m) and SuperB (5000m)

I finally finished my baby dragon....he is such a cutey!!!!

And this will be the background. I don't think I will have any black and white fabric left :)

  2. your dragon is coming along beautifully.
Not heard of these cottons will check to see if they are available here in the UK. I use a lot of cream for making blocks with light fabrics and dark grey for the dark fabrics so either please. This checked it out and see it is polyester does that work well for quilts I thought we were meant to use cotton thread?

  3. love the baby dragon and the colours you used. I like to use various greys in my quilting--goes with most colours so I don't have to keep switching colours
    Thanks for the opportunity

  5. Your baby dragon is a delight. What a wonderful thread gift. I can never walk away from a powder blue thread. But I keep using them up. Not all machines are happy with all threads. Humidity plays a roll among other things.

  6. Wow, you are all stocked up for thread! I use a lot of gray for piecing usually, but would love to have some blue thread in my stash for quilting in another color! Love your baby dragon, too! Is it paper-pieced?

    1. No it is not paper pieced. It is a technique I developed myself and about to make videos so others can do the same thing. It look hard but it is so easy lol. As long as you can sew straight you are good to go :D

Thank you for this giveaway. Any red thread would be perfect. For my part, I have never tried Auriful. I always use Gütermann... :-)
