On my wall this week and a giveaway

Still working on the dragon but almost done so I expect to have a top done in the middle of the week. For the background I use pretty much all of my black and white yardage and a fair amount of my scraps. I always wanted to do a low volume background and this little dragon is so colorful that I think it was the right time.



He make me smile every time I look at him :)

    I think your purple creature is adorable. I think he is a jabberwocky. I like the rosy purple from said critter as a color. Thanks for the give away.

    Your baby dragon is so cute, and the low volume background keeps it from looking cartoonish or babyish, which isn't easy to do. I do a lot of piecing with white or light gray. Jadahlgr at Yahoo dot Com

    the black and white works so beautifully as it makes the dragon really pop. Cram would suit me fine if I were lucky enough to win a reel

    What a great quilt. I love your scrappy background. I'd love to try that thread. It's a new brand to me. I have no preference for color. Neutrals would be best, but I'm more than willing to try one of the brighter colors.
