I dream of spring

So I am making applique flowers :)



I made a few sample to see if I could design a few flowers for an idea I have. Those are the first I made but but for my secret project I need a lot more. I might be because I am just done with winter even if I can admit that this winter was not that bad, we didn't get any -40F :)

Otherwise I am working on those fat quarters still....121 done.....a gazillion to go but before I must go to my favorite fabric wholesaler....isn't that absolutely horrible? :D

    wonder if your applique is needle turned? must learn how to do it in the not too distant future

    Those flowers are beautiful! Are you using fusible backing or needle turning? I can't wait to see what you'll be using them for.

      I use the lazy way lol i don't do needle turn when i am designing. :)

    Spring is here Yanicka, partly because of those flowers :-) Your FQs are drool-worthy. Why is a trip to the fabric wholesaler a horrible thing?

    I am anxious for Spring too! We had a few warmer days, then Mother Nature turned her back and today it is snowing. No accumulation, but lots of wet! Good, I guess!

    Your flowers are really pretty! I sure wish I could make my own like that, but while I can see things wonderfully in my mind, I can't get that to translate into reality. :)
