I am home after Canada Quilt 2017 tired but so very happy. First the people were fantastic and I got so many wonderful compliments. It was very nice to talk about my art with all the nice ladies (and the few men)
My fractured image technique got rave reviews!!! people love it and they told my what they want as the next project : make a butterfly, a wolf, an elephant, fox..... my next year is going to be busy.
Next......I am now the new ambassador for Q'nique for English and French Canada. My Q'nique 14+ sit down machine should be in my home in the next few days !!!! In exchange I have to do 2 videos a month, one in french and one in english.
I also was contacted by 2 fabrics producer and distributors!!!! Can't wait to see what will come out of this but it sound exciting
and finally I was contacted by a Canadian publisher of the "A needle pulling thread" magazine :)
All that is a bit overwhelming so I asked hubby to take care of everything lol so I can get back to the creation part
My project for this week is to have the pattern of the eagle before the 4th of July
I didn't even get to talk about the wonderful quilt in the competition!!! and the stuff I bought Maybe next time.
Here was my booth.
