Wolfgang 2 is finished and on it's way to Northcott Fabrics to be quilted. Next you should be able to see at Huston Quilt Market!!! From concept to prototype to finished top was 3 weeks:) I will be able to show you pictures once it is quilted :)
I was also able to do a video tutorial on how to free motion quilt my "3 feathers" pattern. And the french accent is a bonus :)
oh and here are both wolfs side by side. (Right is the prototype)

I was contacted by one of Martingale publishing person to see if we could work on a book together. It was all very exciting!!! Sadly my Fractured image technique make me the "Microsoft of Quilting" as my technique only work with my own pattern and each pattern have 100's of different pieces....so it is not really book material. Maybe later I will make smaller pieces that would fit a book better but it was great just to be considered.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great finish! Can't wait to see it quilted. I will watch the video in another day or two, just catching up after a trip and a move! Finally back to the quilting world.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so cool. It's a shame it doesn't work for a book, but I can see why. Your work is fabulous. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the book offer! Even though it doesn't work out for you I bet it's a thrill to be asked. The wolf came out great too.
ReplyDeleteAnd your hair is super cute.
Hello Yanicka,

Thank you for linking up with Free Motion Mavericks. This week I have put a link to your post so people can see how you quilted the background of your cat quilt.
