Making a quilt for a friend

One of my friend asked me to do a quilt for her mother's 75th birthday. Her mother is a sweetheart and I said yes right away. She showed me a Pinterest picture....so I had to play detective to find the rightful owner of this pattern. Turn out is was an older Kellie Wulfsohn. Pay the designer people!!! It is important.  I ordered my favorite fabrics form my favorite Company: Northcott Fabrics. 2 very yummy layer cakes.

It will be an applique medallion and below is border number 2.

I am even doing turned edge applique.....so you know that like the lady!!!!

and more painting....because it is my blog LOL

  2. Your paintings take my breath away Yanicka! How I love the sea glass one--and I just made a bowl with Lake Erie beach glass! :-) You do INDEED like the lady to be doing hand appliqué--wow where do you find the time to do all these wonderful things? Lovely work as always.
