5 years late one penny short

First I want to let you know that "It's all gone Pear Shaped" pattern and kit are available at
https://www.facebook.com/bill.locke.96
Bill Locke sell all over the United States and Canada. The fabric Kit is 25$ (can) and the pattern only (paper) is 12$ (can) (prices in US$ will be available) This little wall hanging (or table runner) is awesome and easy to do. There....self promotion is out of the way :)

I made a scrappy basket!!! It was quite fun and easy in fact! I wanted to make one for a friend that is opening a sewing store in Montreal (https://www.atelierfiberarts.com/) and she has a big bolt of the piping cord you use to make those bowls. What a better way to display her product? Ok it is the first one but I am quite happy with my uneven little purple basket lol. I just need to finish it!!! It can't stay a WIP

Second my Button art koi is growing too. It is my first time doing button art but it is such a nice way to use all those buttons!!! Hopefully by the end it will look more like a Koi fish and less like a black blob.

What else? Oh yes! I also posted a few water marbling videos!!

There is not a lot of explanations but I made videos using the same colours but different techniques and the results are very interesting.

Since my sewing machine is back from maintenance I will work on my medallion quilt!!! The due date is coming fast!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Have a great week everyone!!!!

Josephine in maintenance

but it does not mean I am not creating :)

My Janome 8900 is having her bi annual maintenance so I had to manage without her. First I am happy to announce that I will soon have a kit available for the pear pattern! This table runner or wall hanging is adorable. It is 18" x 22". Missing the sewing but I love it.

I started a button art that include one of my hand marbled fabric....it will be shaped as a koi!!! I am not that good at hand sewing buttons if you can believe it lol

And I did a few hand marbled Fat quarters that are curing as you read this. I have one quilt store that would be interested into selling those. Maybe it could be interesting! Each one is unique.

And finally I painted tiles and put resin on the kitties. Coasters maybe? All my little pieces worked fine but my big pieces were a mess this week. That is one thing with acrylic pouring. Sometime it work and it is the greatest feeling in the world, or everything suck and you feel you can't do anything good. :)

New year !!!!!

Welcome 2018.....I am so happy to see you!!! While 2017 was very interesting Quilting wise, it has been hard for me looking at the news. Even if I am not an American, I can't help but be worried and touched by what is happening in the USA with Trump Administration,  so many having to fight for Obamacare.

I finished 2017 with a bang by finishing "Theodore the tiger" What an hansom boy if I can say myself. He is on his way to Indonesia to the lady that helped me do a kit for him :)

Still working on my friend mother's 75th birthday quilt. I've pinned every elements I had on my design wall to have a better idea of how it is going. This is usually when I start having self doubts lol Oh the tortured soul of an artist

And I sent my husband to the art store and the exact list of what I wanted for Christmas! Not romantic but efficient lol.

I was able to get more quality supplies to paint. I am having a lot of fun and inspiration even for my textile art.

Purple dream......my latest favorite color and pantone's color of the year!

No name.....the leafs are little silver heart confetti lol

And "SnowStorm" it was an happy accident and I love it. Could probably not reproduce it if I wanted to lol

I also did this one.......and it inspired a modern wall hanging....Maybe I should try a stitch and slash method to reproduce the effect? Anyway I like it.

I have to look at my UFO's too....but for now denial is working for me :D
