New year !!!!!

Welcome 2018.....I am so happy to see you!!! While 2017 was very interesting Quilting wise, it has been hard for me looking at the news. Even if I am not an American, I can't help but be worried and touched by what is happening in the USA with Trump Administration,  so many having to fight for Obamacare.

I finished 2017 with a bang by finishing "Theodore the tiger" What an hansom boy if I can say myself. He is on his way to Indonesia to the lady that helped me do a kit for him :)

Still working on my friend mother's 75th birthday quilt. I've pinned every elements I had on my design wall to have a better idea of how it is going. This is usually when I start having self doubts lol Oh the tortured soul of an artist

And I sent my husband to the art store and the exact list of what I wanted for Christmas! Not romantic but efficient lol.

I was able to get more quality supplies to paint. I am having a lot of fun and inspiration even for my textile art.

Purple dream......my latest favorite color and pantone's color of the year!

No name.....the leafs are little silver heart confetti lol

And "SnowStorm" it was an happy accident and I love it. Could probably not reproduce it if I wanted to lol

I also did this one.......and it inspired a modern wall hanging....Maybe I should try a stitch and slash method to reproduce the effect? Anyway I like it.

I have to look at my UFO's too....but for now denial is working for me :D
